Deputy Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams to deliver a public lecture at Unisa: 30 May

The Deputy Minister of Communications, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams will on Monday, 30 May deliver a lecture to commemorate Africa Month at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has formed a partnership with the institution to mark the celebrations under the theme: “Building a Better Africa and a Better World”.

This year’s Africa month celebrations mark 53 years since the formation of the Organisation of African Unity on 25 May 1963 and the African Union in 2002. South Africa joined the entire continent in celebrating Africa’s successes and advancements on many fronts especially on democracy, peace, stability and socio-economic development. The lecture aims at celebrating and mobilising the African community to celebrate Africa month while promoting peace and friendship.
