Government's media briefings for 29 June – 5 July

On Tuesday, 30 June at 09:00am, Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will release the results of the Quarterly financial statistics of private sector enterprises, Q1 2015 (QFS). The QFS provides quarterly statistics (in Rand value) on the total turnover, capital expenditure, closing inventories of private sector companies operating in various sectors of the South African economy as at the end of the first quarter of 2015. The briefing will be held at Tshedimosetso House (GCIS), Pretoria with a link up to Imbizo Media Centre, Cape Town.

On Tuesday, 30 June at 10:00am, Statistics South Africa will release the Quarterly financial statistics of municipalities, March 2015 (QFSM) statistical release. The QFSM provides statistics on the consolidated financial position of municipalities in the country, including information on income generated from rates and services and sales of electricity and water. The QFSM also provides data on amounts spend by municipalities on various items including employee-related costs, bad debts, grants, interest paid on municipal debts, entertainment costs, and rental costs amongst others. The briefing will be held at Tshedimosetso House (GCIS), Pretoria with a link up to Imbizo Media Centre, Cape Town.
