The Black Industrialists and Exporters Conference - updated media arrangements | Government Communication and Information System (GCIS)

President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Wednesday, 20 July 2022, officiate at the opening of the first Black Industrialists and Exporters Conference at the Sandton International Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

Members of the media are advised of the following updated media arrangements:

MEDIA ACCREDITATION

Members of the media are informed that the registration of the media is closed. We cannot accept late submissions as clearance can take up to 24 hours after submission.

Members of the media that have applied for accreditation are invited to come for accreditation as follows:

DATES

Wednesday, 20 July 2022 from 07:00 to 12:00

VENUE

Accreditation will take place at the IDC Auditorium, 82 Grayston Drive, Sandton.

Media will not be able to get accredited once the centre closes.

Media are urged to collect their accreditation in person.

REQUIREMENTS

The accreditation system is live which means media is required to personally present themselves in order to collect their photo accreditation.

Required Documents for Live Accreditation:

• A copy of a valid passport/ID

• A press card or letter of assignment on a media house letterhead

PRESS CONFERENCE BY MINISTER OF TRADE, INDUSTRY AND COMPETITION, MR. EBRAHIM PATEL

All accredited media are invited to attend the midday Press Conference to be led by Minister Ebrahim Patel. The Minister will be joined by CEO’s of Finance Agencies. The details of the Press Conference are as follows:
