Government Communications invites media to apply for accreditation for Eastern Cape Presidential Imbizo

Media accreditation for Eastern Cape Presidential Imbizo

Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) calls on members of the media wishing to cover the forthcoming Presidential Imbizo to apply for accreditation. The Presidential Imbizo is scheduled to take place on Friday, 11 August 2023 at Magwala Sports Field under Intsika Yethu Local Municipality, Chris Hani District in the Eastern Cape Province. 

Preceding the Imbizo will be a series of build-up outreach activities led by Ministers, MECs and Mayors in parts of Chris Hani District Municipality and across the Eastern Cape Province. Media advisories will be issued for each of these activities.

Members of the media applying for accreditation are advised to complete the attached registration form in full and submit it to Takalani Mukwevho on Email: takalanim@gcis.gov.za  or Sandiswa Mdingi on Email: sandiswam@gcis.gov.za by no later than Thursday, 03 August 2023 at 16h00.
