Good day members of the media, please be informed that the KZN Presidential Imbizo is postponed to 30 June and will no longer happen on 09 June as previously communicated on the media advisory below. The new deadline for accreditation will be communicated as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) calls on members of the media wishing to cover the forthcoming Presidential Imbizo to apply for accreditation.
The Presidential Imbizo is scheduled to take place on Friday, 09 June 2023 in Alfred Duma Local Municipality under uThukela District Municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.
Preceding the Imbizo is a series of build-up outreach activities led by Ministers, MECs and Mayors in parts of uThukela District Municipality and across the KwaZulu-Natal Province. Media advisories will be issued for each of these activities.
Members of the media applying for accreditation are advised to complete the attached registration form in full and submit it to Takalani Mukwevho on Email: takalanim@gcis.gov.za or Menzi Ntaka on Email: menzi@gcis.gov.za by no later than Monday, 05 June 2023 at 16h00.
