Government Directors-General (DGs) will tomorrow, 6th May 2022, handover donations to communities affected by floods in KwaZulu-Natal.
The DGs will embark on this initiative as a way of lending a hand of comfort and support to the victims of the destruction and loss of lives caused by the recent floods.
The programme will be led by Ms Phindile Baleni, Director-General in the Presidency and Dr. Nonhlanhla Mkhize, Director-General, KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government. The DGs will be supported by the MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Neliswa Nkonyeni.
Members of the media are invited to attend the event. All COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
