The Inter-Ministerial Task Team on the certificate handover will visit Moses Mabhida Stadium
On the 17th October 2022, the Inter-Ministerial Task Team (IMTT) coordinating the ceremony to handover a certificate of recognition to King Misuzulu ka Zwelithini will visit the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The certificate handover ceremony is scheduled for 29 October 2022.
The IMTT is led by the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and it is made up of a number of Cabinet Ministers and the leadership of KwaZulu Natal Province led by Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube.
The IMTT will conduct an in loco inspection and hold a planning meeting at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The ceremony to hand over a certificate to his majesty the king is an important milestone but it is not a coronation as His Majesty has already ascended the throne and has also performed the customary ceremony ukungena esibayeni on 20 August 2022.
