Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) calls on members of the media wishing to cover the forthcoming Presidential Imbizo to apply for accreditation. The Imbizo is scheduled to take place on Friday, 12 August 2022 at Sharpville cricket pitch, Sedibeng in the Gauteng Province.
The Presidential Imbizo will amongst others, assess service delivery through the implementation of the District Development Model which enables integrated and responsive planning, implementation and budgeting.
Preceding the Imbizo, Ministers, Members of the Executive Council (MECs) and Mayors will conduct a number of outreach activities in parts of Sedibeng District Municipality and around the Gauteng Province.
Members of the media applying for accreditation are advised to complete the attached registration form in full, and submit it to Takalani Mukwevho on Email: takalanim@gcis.gov.za or Lerato Mdiya on Email: Lerato.Mdiya@gauteng.gov.za by no later than Tuesday, 02 August 2022 at 16h00.
