Media arrangements for funeral service of Mama Ruth Mompati

Members of the media area advised of the following arrangements for the funeral of Mama Ruth Mompati as follows:

Parking of OB vans and rigging:
Date:   Friday 22 May 2015
Time:   12h00- 17h00 (lock down is at 17h00)
Venue: Vryburg Showgrounds and Huhudi Cemetery

Collection of media accreditation cards:
Date:     Friday, 22 May 2015
Time:    12h00 – 18h00
Venue:  Office of the Premier, Mini Garona Building, Noord and Molopo Street, Vryburg

Applicants are advised of the following requirements for collection of accreditation cards:

• South African Identity Document or passport
• Press card/ and or letter from the editor

Collection of media accreditation cards will close at 18h00. No cards will be issued after closing.

2.    Media transport
There will be a park and ride facility at Gert Lubbe Stadium in Vryburg. Media will park their cars at the Gert Lubbe Stadium and be transported to the Vryburg Showgrounds. The park and ride will start at 6h00am and stop at 8h30am and resume after the official programme has ended.
