03 December 2021

3 December 2021

The German Development Cooperation (GIZ), UN Women, Commission for Gender Equality (CGE), Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) and the Film and Publication Board (FPB) are hosting an online webinar on “Strengthening the Regulation of Media for Gender Equality”.

Media and Creative Industries play a critical role in how we can prevent gender-based violence (GBV) through the images and storytelling we consume. As such, it is imperative that these industries be regulated and financed to better achieve gender equality.

Panelists will unpack how regulatory bodies and financing schemes can play an active role in the fight against GBV.
