In line with the 2016 State of the Nation Address (SONA) pronouncements and government priorities, the Deputy Minister of Communications, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams (MP) will lead a post SoNA Information Seminar in the Camdeboo Local Municipality, Graaf Reinet.
The Post SONA Information Seminar affords Government the opportunity to engage and reflect on service delivery, plans, milestones and challenges to date as part of ongoing feedback to communities.

Government welcomes the 20 year prison sentence handed down to Donald Sebolai today by Judge Cassim Moosa at the Johannesburg High Court.
Sebolai was convicted in October 2015 of murdering his girlfriend Rachel "Dolly" Tshabalala. Government is pleased that the sentence matches the seriousness of the crime.

Minister of Communications Minister Ms Faith Muthambi will make an official visit to Davos, Switzerland for three days to attend the 2016 World Communication Forum (WCF). The forum is scheduled from the 7th to 10th March 2016.
Minister Muthambi will be one of the panellists speaking about the role of the public media service and challenges of the digital arena in government and communications.
