The security cluster welcomes the decision by the North Gauteng High Court to grant the State a hearing on its application for a deadline extension for comment on the Public Protector’s interim report covering the upgrades at the President’s residence in Nkandla.

Public Service and Administration Minister Lindiwe Sisulu, will on Thursday, 7 November, lead a panel of Governance and Administration Cluster Ministers during a quarterly cluster media briefing.
The media briefings are aimed at informing citizens on progress made in the implementation of the 12 Outcomes and respective service delivery agreements.

Government congratulates the South African athletes for their outstanding performance at the New York City Marathon yesterday. South African athletes excelled in the marathon, in which over 50 000 people participated.
Paralympian Ernst van Dyk won second place in the wheelchair division, Lusapho April came third in the men’s elite category and two other South Africans finished in the top 60 in the hand cycle division.
