State of readiness for the memorial and funeral services for Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela

Welcome to this latest update on the preparations for the Special Official Memorial Service and Special Official Funeral Service for our beloved stalwart Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, who passed on 2 April 2018.

The Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on State Funerals led by the Minister in the Presidency, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, met on the 06 April 2018 and wishes to provide the following update:

Members of the media are advised that the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) Ministers will hold a briefing on the Special Official Funeral of the late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
