Statement by the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Comprehensive Social Security
Government has scheduled the following briefings/activities for the week of 19 - 25 March 2018. The activities, which are aligned to the National Development Plan and outlined in the Medium Term Strategic Framework 2014-2019, are undertaken to build a better South Africa.
The National Water Week 2018 will be held from 19 to 25 March. The campaign seeks to continue building on the ongoing awareness to ensure the integrity of our water resources and its efficient use within the broader South African community.
Cabinet met on Wednesday, 14 March 2018, at Tuynhuys, Cape Town
Minister of Communications Nomvula Mokonyane, will brief media on the outcomes of the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, 14 March 2018.

The Minister in the Presidency Responsible for Women, Ms Bathabile Dlamini will be leading a government delegation to the 2018 UN Commission for the Status of Women. The 62nd Session of the Commission will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 12 to 23 March.

Government urges the public to participate on Voter Registration Weekend
Government calls upon all eligible South African voters to visit their voting stations this coming weekend. The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) will on the 10 and 11 March, open 22 600 voting registration centres across the country.
