Communications Deputy Minister to address the Media Development and Diversity summit: 13 Nov

The Deputy Minister of Communications, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams will be the keynote speaker at the City of Tshwane Media Development and Diversity Summit hosted by the Executive Mayor, Kgosientso Ramokgopa.

The summit will culminate in a development compact with the media, the community, institutions of higher learning, Non-Governmental Organisations and other government agencies to collectively craft a long-term framework for media development and support as part of Tshwane Vision 2055.

Minister of Communications, Ms Faith Muthambi will embark on an outreach sectoral Imbizo in the Free State, Bloemfontein on Friday, 14 November 2014.

Later on the same day Minister Muthambi will host a stakeholder engagement session with provincial communicators as well as a community media imbizo. Since the establishment of the Department of Communications, she has held similar events in various provinces such as Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo.
