Government joins millions of South Africans, Africans and Springbok fans from across the globe in congratulating the World Rugby 2023 champions. In this record breaking victory, the Springboks showed determination, creativity and strength against New Zealand’s All Blacks.

Our unwavering confidence in the Springboks was symbolised by the presence of President Cyril Ramaphosa in France to help our champions to lift the Webb Ellis trophy.

The Minister in The Presidency, Minister Khumbudzo Ntshavheni will deliver the 3rd OR Tambo Annual Memorial Lecture hosted by the University of South Africa and the Oliver and Reginald Tambo Foundation.

The lecture is hosted to celebrate the life of anti-apartheid activist, teacher, and longest-serving president of the African National Congress, Oliver Reginald Tambo under the theme: Reclaiming Africa’s Intellectual Futures.

Media accreditation for North West DDM Presidential Imbizo

Government Communication and Information system (GCIS) calls on members of the media wishing to cover the forthcoming District Development Model (DDM) Presidential Imbizo to apply for accreditation.

The DDM Presidential Imbizo is scheduled to take place on Friday, 20 October 2023 at Ikageng Sports Complex, Potchefstroom in JB Marks Local Municipality under the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality, North West Province.
