Government welcomes GDP growth in Q3

Figures released by Statistics South Africa show that the country’s gross domestic product increased by 1,6% in the third quarter, July-September 2022, from a contraction of 0,7% in the second quarter. Government welcomes the growth of economic activity which was driven by eight industries.

Government condemns in the strongest terms the racist incident that took place when 25-year-old Thabiso Danca was barred from entering Hank's Olde Irish pub, in Cape Town, because he was a black person and without a white escort.

The Minister in The Presidency responsible for Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), Mr Mondli Gungubele, requests the pleasure of your company during the SADC Media Awards Dinner and the launch of the 2023 Competition.
