South Africa will host its fourth South Africa Investment Conference (SAIC) on 24 March 2022 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The conference is part of our investment drive to attract R1.2 trillion over five years. The SAIC attracts delegates from South Africa and worldwide to discuss investment opportunities. Since the first investment conference in 2018, South Africa has attracted R770 billion in commitments across a wide range of economic sectors.

Following the delivery of the 2022 State of the Nation Address (SoNA), the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) will, on Sunday 27 February 2022, host a media briefing of the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster led by the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Thandi Modise and the Minister of Police, Gen Bheki Cele.
The briefing will amplify areas of the work of the Cluster and departments in the Cluster, which President Ramaphosa addressed in the State of the Nation Address.

Youth reflections on the 2022 State of the Nation Address
Following the delivery of the State of the Nation Address (SoNA) by President Ramaphosa on 10 February 2022, the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) and the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) will host a Twitter Space for the youth to reflect on the contents of the SoNA.
