Government encourages public to watch Medium Term Budget Policy Statement

Government encourages all citizens to tune into their respective community radio stations to listen to the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) being delivered in Parliament. The MTBPS will also be broadcast live over a number of other mediums including SABC Channel 404, SABC 2, ANN7, eNCA, RSGFM, SAFM, IkwekweziFM, PowerFM and Radio702.

The Minister of Finance, Mr Pravin Gordhan will table the MTBPS on Wednesday 26 October 2016 at 14h00.

However, the trend of satirical news websites presented as a credible news source misinforms society on key issues and prominent figures.
